Philodendron Hederaceum, also known as Micans or Velvets is a popular Philodendron Climber and Vine. They are a popular houseplant, famous for their iconic velvety heart-shaped leaves. They are fairly easy to care for houseplants handling fairly low-light conditions, grow relatively quickly, and can also be propagated.
Philodendrons Micans are popular due to their relatively easy care requirements compared to many different houseplants. Philodendron Micans will be happiest in bright, indirect light but can survive in low-light conditions. In tropical environments, they can handle some direct sun but in drier climates, it is best to avoid direct sun where the leaves may burn. Being a low-light plant they can also survive in very low-light spaces beneath fluorescent lights.
